Full Process (Simplified Procedure)
- Register at pmsuryaghar.gov.in using active mobile & email; choose State & DISCOM; enter consumer number.
- Submit Application with rooftop details, proposed capacity; upload ID, address & bank details.
- DISCOM Approval: In‑principle approval & NOC to proceed with installation.
- Installation by an MNRE‑registered vendor as per technical standards.
- Inspection & Net Metering by DISCOM; obtain net‑meter certificate post checks.
- Upload Documents: inspection photos, commissioning report & net‑meter certificate.
- DBT Subsidy is credited directly to your bank account, typically within 30 days of verification.

Rajasthan — Additional State Subsidy & Solar Mandate
Extra State Subsidy
- ₹17,000 additional support for systems ≥ 1.1 kW.
- Applicable to beneficiaries of the Mukhyamantri Nishulk Bijli Yojana (100 Free Units Scheme).
- Total potential subsidy = ₹78,000 (Central) + ₹17,000 (State) = ₹95,000.
Solar Installation Mandate
If monthly consumption exceeds 150 units, installing rooftop solar is mandatory to continue availing the 100 free units benefit. Not installing solar may lead to revocation of this benefit.

- Indian resident with a domestic electricity connection.
- Owns/has rights to a rooftop suitable for solar installation.
